About Me

Education

Educational History:

 

I was born and raised in Vernon, TX.  I graduated from Vernon High School in 1998.  I then went on to attend college at Vernon College and Midwestern State University where i graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2005.  

Degrees and Certifications:

I am Texas certified to teach Early Childhood through the 4th Grade.

Current Position:

 

This will be my first year to teach at Paducah ISD.  I am very excited to be the new 3rd grade teacher.

Previous Position:

I have previously taught Pre-K and First Grade at Guthrie CSD.  After teaching for a little while we decided to start our family so I have been a very busy stay at home mom for the last ten years.  I loved every second of raising my children but I am so excited to get back to educating young minds!

Family Information:

I have been married to Justin Johnson for 12 years.  We have 3 beautiful, healthy children.  They currently attend Guthrie CSD.  We have 3 dogs, Rodeo, Lacey, and Coney.  We also have 2 cats, Bob and Jingle.  We have a whole bunch of horses.  Some of their names are Joker, Camo, Rosebud, Handsome Jack, and Raymond.  We love animals around our house!

Personal Information:

I love spending time with my family.  I love to spend any free time I might have at the lake swimming, skiing, or tubing.  I also love to work in my yard mowing, planting flowers, and picking any weeds that decide to pop up on a daily basis.
